Q. What happens if my piece doesn’t match?

A. You can get an exchange or a refund within 30 days of purchase as long as it is unworn. We do not accept returns on clearance items. Send back, as received, to Sally’s Glitz and Glam Ltd, 17 Limes Close, Staincross, Barnsley, S75 6JS.

Q. Can I apply heat to synthetic hair?

A. We advise against this. Some pieces may say that heat can be applied but we still recommend that you do not do this as it can singe or dry out the fibre.

 

Q. Can I apply colour to human hair pieces?

A. Yes you can however a strand test is recommended. If you do colour the piece it cannot be returned and we cannot be held liable for any damage this may cause.

 

Q. Can I apply colour to synthetic pieces?

A. No you cannot colour synthetic hair as the fibre is not porous and will not take any hair colouring at all. 

 

Q. Can I wash my synthetic hair piece?

A. Yes you need to care for your hair piece to extend the life. You can use fabric conditioner and mild baby shampoo if you do not purchase wig shampoo and conditioner. Fibre oil conditioning spray (£6.99) will extend the life of your hair piece and avoid having to wash as often.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

First brush your hairpiece. Fill your sink with tepid water and mix in a small amount of wig shampoo. Dip your hair piece in and out of the water. Do Not rub your hair piece! Now rinse the piece in cool water. Next mix a generous amount of wig conditioner into tepid water and dip your piece in and out. Submerge the piece for a couple of minutes and then rinse the conditioner out with cool water. Hang your piece up and let it dry. The style will spring back into shape as it is drying.

Q. Can I cut my hair piece?

A. Yes the hair pieces can be cut but if you do cut it, it cannot be returned – we are not liable for any damage caused to the hair piece in your possession.

Q. What are your store opening times?

A. Barnsley Store:

Everyday 9am to 4.30 pm (Closed Thursdays and Sundays)
 

Q. Do I need to make an appointment? 

A. You do not need an appointment at our stores; if our Glitz & Glam team are busy they may ask you to call back. 

Q. I’ve been refunded, how long will it take for the money to be back in my account?

A. This differs due to the clearing on various banks. On average it can take anything up to 10 days. In some cases this can take up to 30 days but this is very rare. If you have any issues either Email: info@sallysglitzglam.co.uk or ring the office on 01226 208175.

When you pay, the payment goes to our Secure payment site and we use PayPal. So, when we refund you, an email will be sent from PayPal notifying you that the money has been refunded. The refunded money will be refunded back to the card or payment method that you initially used.

 

Q. I’ve chosen the Free Shipping option, how long will my order take to arrive?

A. Free Shipping, on average, takes 3 to 5 working days (depending on stock levels). We use Royal Mail as our courier.

 

Q. I have chosen the International Shipping option, how long will this take to arrive?

A. The International Shipping option, on average, takes 10 to 15 working days (depending on stock levels).

 

Q. How do I get my tracking number?

A. If you leave your details (email address and/or mobile number) when placing your order you will receive an email and/or text notification on day of delivery. If you need your tracking number either-

Q. What courier service do you use?

A. Predominantly we use Royal Mail.

 

Q. What delivery options do you offer?

A. We offer free shipping which on average takes 3-5 working days. Order before 1PM for next day delivery which is £6.99. Order by 1PM Friday for Saturday Special delivery which is £12.95. International orders are £15.00 flat rate fee which on average take 10-15 working days. 

 

Q. What if I’m not in at the time of delivery?

A. All of our parcels are to be signed for when delivered. If you are not going to be in, we advise customers to write in the comments box when checking out with directions to leave with a trusted neighbour etc. You can also put your work place address.

 

Q. Do I need to pay to return an item?

A. Yes you have to cover the costs for returning an item (it is optional how you send it back but may be advantageous for you to have your parcel tracked.) If the item is faulty or you have received the wrong item contact us on 01226 208175 and we can discuss reimbursing your postage costs.

 

Q. Can I place orders over the phone? 

A. You can call our office on 01226 208175 to place an order. We are open Monday – Friday 9am-4pm.

 

Q. What if a product I want is not in stock? 

A. You can call our office on 01226 208175 to speak to a member of our staff, they will take your name and number and will give you a call when the product you want is back in stock.
